Following On From A Successful Audit Process, CLM Has Been Certified To The ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System Standard
Over the last twelve months, the team at CLM has been busy documenting over 100 processes across 18 internal functions and training a team of eight internal auditors.
The investment of time and resources to meet the criteria of ISO 9001:2015 has paid off and, following a two-stage audit process, CLM was assessed and deemed to meet the requirements of the standard.
The latest achievement means that CLM is now certified to both ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 27001:2013, the data security standard. Separately, CLM has been “Investors in People” accredited since 1997.
Said John Lawrence, CLM’s managing director, “We have had efficient processes and a quality management system for a long time, but as an ambitious, innovative Fleet Management business we felt now was the time to be independently assessed and gain an external accreditation for our operational processes
“As we started to engage with new markets, it become apparent that the ISO quality standard was a valuable endorsement in the eyes of potential customers and other business partners.
“Having prioritised and attained ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification in 2016, we made the decision to engage with external ISO experts and auditors once again. We implemented a business project, created a project team and we set about organising our processes, systems and supporting documentation to achieve ISO 9001:2015. And we appointed our quality manager, Dennis Hemmerling.”
“Going forwards, ISO 9001:2015 should help us in our quest for new customers and fleet management business and, for our existing customers, the certification just evidences what they already knew … that CLM is a business with a genuine quality outlook and a focus on continuous improvement.”
