Advisory Fuel Rates from December 2014

HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) has announced the Advisory Fuel Rates (AFRs) for the three months from 1 December 2014.

Rates are set based on petrol and diesel prices as at 18 November from the Department for Energy and Climate Change, with the LPG taken from the UK average price from the AA website in October.

Two of the petrol rates have reduced by 1p, along with the over 2000cc diesel category which has also been decreased by 1p to 16p per mile.

The latest rates, which organisations use to reimburse drivers for fuel used on business journeys, take effect from 1st December 2014.
