Team Profiles

Tony Hulatt – Managing Director

Tony Hulatt joined CLM in 1986 from Herondrive, part of Heron International. Tony was appointed Managing Director in 1993, led his colleagues in a successful MBO in 1996, and took the Company into full director-ownership in 1999.

Aside from his strategic role, Tony retains day-to-day involvement in developing both prospective and existing client business relationships.

Chris Cadman – Commercial Director

Following time spent working for vehicle manufacturers and finance houses in their contract hire and fleet management divisions, Chris Cadman joined CLM in 1992

Chris has board responsibility for CLM’s customer facing, database pricing and systems employed functions.

John Kelly – Operations Director

John Kelly joined CLM in 1982 from a background of Manufacturer-based car and commercial vehicle management.

John holds board responsibility for CLM's remarketing and logistics operation, together with new vehicle supply agreements.

Jane Knight – Financial Director

Gaining important experience at Swedish company, Iggesund, where she was Management Accountant, Jane Knight joined CLM in 1988. Jane was appointed to the board in 1989 as both Financial Director and Company Secretary, and continues to hold both roles.

In addition to her financial responsibilities, Jane also coordinates the Company’s HR and facilities functions.

Robert Wentworth-James – Head of Sales & Marketing

Robert Wentworth-James joined CLM from GE in 1997, where he was head of major accounts. Prior to this, Robert worked for the Woodchester Group & Lombard plc, performing a variety of management roles within the finance and sales divisions.

Robert is responsible for company marketing, business development and all direct sales activity for the business.

Chris Mitchinson – Associate Director, Fleet Control

From a background of working for BRS Car Lease and 8 years with Nissan UK, Chris Mitchinson joined CLM in 1998.

Chris is responsible for the fleet control, accident management and rental divisions, covering all operational aspects for vehicles during their ‘in-life’ stages.

Carl Miller - Head of Client Services / Associate Director IT & Business Process

Carl Miller joined CLM in 1996 as Client Services Manager, having held a similar position within Zenith Vehicle Contracts. In 2001 Carl moved into more specific project work and was responsible for developing online services and driving business process improvement. Following his successes in this environment, Carl returned to head up Client Services in 2010 and is now focused on developing client relationships and improving service delivery.

Debbie Baker - Senior Finance Manager

Debbie joined CLM in 2001 as supervisor of the Finance department, and has developed her role and grown with the business. The knowledge and experience she has gained over the years has seen her promoted within CLM and she is now the Senior Finance Manager and a member of the Executive Team. Debbie is responsible for the day to day running of the Finance department, production of the monthly management accounts and VAT returns.
